Why Argil.
I started Argil because I couldn’t find a place in Bali where I could get a full day of work done.
When I moved here, I assumed working remotely would be easy. It wasn’t. Cafés got loud. The Wi‑Fi dropped mid‑call. The coworking spaces I tried were beautiful, but they were built more around pools and events than around work.
So I built Argil around the work. There are quiet areas for when you need to focus, and phone booths and meeting rooms for calls. The chairs are ergonomic and the desks adjust to standing, because days here can be long. The internet is fast, and we’ve built in as much backup as we can, so we’re ready for the worst.
Argil is a coworking space in Pererenan, right next to Canggu. It’s for people who’ve made Bali their base, whether that’s for three months or three years. It’s somewhere to settle into a routine, keep it, and come back to whenever you’re here.
